Another week, another strong TV ratings performance for the PGA Tour.

CBS’ Sunday coverage of the 2026 CJ Cup Byron Nelson averaged 3.5 million viewers, a 20 percent increase from last year, making it the most-watched final round for the event since 2004. The broadcast peaked at just over 4.6 million viewers as fans tuned in to watch Wyndham Clark fire a blistering 11-under 60 at TPC Craig Ranch en route to a three-shot victory, cruising past Si Woo Kim and world No. 1 Scottie Scheffler.

This is just the latest in a string of stellar viewership numbers for the PGA Tour going back to last year, when CBS reported that 2025 was its highest-rated golf season in seven years. The network says it’s on pace to beat that mark again, with 2026 golf broadcasts averaging 4.08 million viewers — the highest since 2007 and up 16 percent from a year ago.

Two weeks ago, CBS saw a 21 percent year-over-year increase in final-round viewership for Aaron Rai’s victory at the PGA Championship, averaging 5.76 million viewers with peak of over 8 million.
