Who’s in the field for the 2026 Charles Schwab Challenge?
Colonial Country Club in Fort Worth, Texas, is celebrating its 80th anniversary and marking eight decades as the PGA Tour’s longest running host venue for a non-major on Tour.
The field includes seven of the top 20 players in the Official World Golf Ranking, but for the first time in his career, past champion Jordan Spieth won’t be there. World No. 1 Scottie Scheffler has also opted out, as did last week’s winner, Wyndham Clark.

J.J. Spaun at No. 9 in the world is the highest-ranked player in the field along with Russell Henley No. 11 and Ludvig Aberg at No. 13. Fan favorites Rickie Fowler and Justin Thomas also will be seeking to win the tournament’s famed tartan jacket.
What does the winner of the Charles Schwab Challenge get?
Besides the $1.782 million first-place check and a sweet tartan jacket, the winner of the tournament will get the keys to a tricked-out custom 1982 Jeep. This continues the cool car tradition at Colonial.
