Rajah Caruth will drive the truck Kyle Busch was scheduled to run for Spire Motorsports in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series Allegiance 200 at Nashville Superspeedway on May 29.

Busch, the winningest driver in the truck series, died on May 21 from severe pneumonia that progressed into sepsis.

Busch was coming off a trucks series race at Dover on May 15.

Caruth, 23, won the trucks series race at Nashville in 2025 and was already scheduled to drive the No. 32 car for Jordan Anderson Racing in the NASCAR O’Reilly Series Sports Illustrated Resorts 250 at Nashville on May 30.

KYLE BUSCH CAUSE OF DEATH REVEALED: Kyle Busch cause of death revealed in NASCAR driver’s family statement

Corey Day filled in for Busch in the trucks race May 24 at Charlotte Motor Speedway. He crashed out on Lap 47.

Caruth, who was in Nashville on May 13 for the unveiling of the 2026 Gibson guitar trophies, led 61 of the truck race’s 150 laps in 2025 in his second career win.
