Nick Sanchez and AM Racing are nowhere to be found on the NASCAR O’Reilly Series entry list at Kansas Speedway. For the third straight week, Sanchez and the No. 25 team for AM Racing are not on the entry list, creating serious questions about the future of the NASCAR organization.

The No. 25 team was struggling to start the 2026 NASCAR season, but Sanchez did have a third-place finish at EchoPark Speedway. Through the first seven races, Sanchez had four finishes of 33rd place or worse, while his second-best effort was 16th place at Darlington Raceway.

This is a disappointing development for Sanchez, who ran well with Big Machine Racing during the 2025 NASCAR season. The former driver of the No. 48 car won at EchoPark in June and seemed to be rising in NASCAR. Now, it is fair to wonder when, or if, Sanchez and the No. 25 team for AM Racing return to the race track.
