It’s time to shine for rising lightweight star Floyd Schofield who headlines a main card for the first time against Rene Tellez Giron at Virgin Hotels Las Vegas on November 2. The 12-round bout, plus undercard results, will be broadcast by DAZN.

Schofield (17-0, 12 KOs) is one of the brightest young stars in world boxing.
Hailing from New Jersey by way of Austin, Texas, the 22-year-old has been blessed with blazing speed, agility, athleticism and standout punch variety. This will be his first 12-round bout.
“The preparation was difficult, we had a hard training camp, but I’m ready to show what I’m capable of on Saturday,” said Schofield at the final press conference.
“I’d like to thank Rene for taking the fight, but I hope he’s ready to give his life in that ring like I am.”
Giron (20-3, 13 KOs) has never been stopped in a nine-year professional career. The 25-year-old Mexican is coming off a dominant seventh-round TKO of British lefty Alex Dilmaghani and is on a three-fight win streak.
“I’m so excited for my first main event fight in Las Vegas,” said a jubilant Giron. “I’m ready, thanks again for being here.
“The truth is that I’m super happy. I fought in Vegas, but now I’m the main event. I’m willing to do whatever it takes. I’m super-happy and grateful.”
