If it’s Wednesday at the Masters, it must be time for the Par 3 Contest. Since 1960, the Masters Par 3 Contest has served as a table-setter for golf’s first major. It’s laid-back, family fun before the stress of trying to make history and win a Green Jacket. For this installment of the Golfweek/USA Today Masters Survey, we asked pros to name their favorite hole at the short course.

Favorite Masters Par 3 Course hole
Sahith Theegala
Nine would be the easy answer but my favorite is four. It’s a 65-yard hole with the ridge in the middle and there’s a bowl on the right. It’s a really fun shot to try to nip it as hard as you can.

Rickie Fowler
Well, they’ve actually changed it. My heart says No. 4, where I made an ace. That was amazing.
Gary Player
No. 6, across the water. But I preferred the original Par 3 Course to the newer version.
Gary Woodland
Six. I made a hole-in-one there so I’ll say that one.
Larry Mize
They’ve re-done it and did a phenomenal job. No. 7 is one you can knock it to the back of the green and spin it in. I won a closest to pin there last year so I like that one.
Jason Day
My favorite is nine. The amphitheater is such a great setting, back over the water, and so many patrons gathered.
Trevor Immelman
I’d have to say the 5th because it’s the only one I’ve had a hole in one on….LOL. That was fun to have my kids on the bag for that moment.

Zach Johnson
Seven. It’s the only one I’ve made a hole-in-one on and I was able to give my golf ball to one of my college roommate’s dad and he passed away that year and that was impactful.
Adam Scott
I like No. 8. It’s a tricky one.
Jason Day
No. 9 has the amphitheater and all the patrons gathered there and always fun to let friends and family members hit a tee shot or a putt.
