Vanessa Trump on Friday appeared to break her silence on the rollover crash of her golf star boyfriend Tiger Woods, who was charged last week in Florida with DUI, property damage and refusing to take a urine test, sharing two little words for her partner in an Instagram story.

“Love you,” she wrote in an overlaid caption of a photo of them resting on a hammock.

Vanessa Trump was previously married to Donald Trump Jr., the eldest son of President Donald Trump, and shares five children with him. She filed for divorce in 2018 and started publicly dating Woods, whose real name is Eldrick T. Woods, in March 2025.

The crash last Friday occurred just after 2 p.m. on Jupiter Island in a 30 mph zone, according to an affidavit released by the Martin County Sheriff’s Office. Deputies said Woods was driving in a Range Rover and hit a Ford F-150 from the rear, causing his car to roll over.

Woods was “sweating profusely” and had two pills in his pocket, which were later identified as hydrocodone, according to the affidavit. Deputy Tatiana Levenar said that she “observed several signs of impairment” while speaking to Woods, who refused to take a blood-alcohol test.

“I observed his pupils to be extremely dilated,” said Levenar in the affidavit. “I asked Woods if he consumed any type of alcoholic beverage to drink today to which he stated, ‘none.’ I asked Woods if he consumed any prescription medication to which he stated, ‘I take a few.’”

The pro golfer was previously arrested for DUI in 2017. He was found asleep at the time at the wheel of his car, which was damaged and had the engine running, and said in a statement that he had taken a mix of prescription medication that led to an “unexpected reaction.”

In 2021, he was involved in a high-speed crash on the outskirts of Los Angeles, suffering multiple injuries that required subsequent surgeries. Woods, 50, played his last official tournament in 2024, placing near the bottom at the British Open that year.

“I know and understand the seriousness of the situation I find myself in today,” wrote Woods on X. “I am stepping away for a period of time to seek treatment and focus on my health. This is necessary in order for me to prioritize my well-being and work toward lasting recovery.”

Donald Trump on Tuesday told The New York Post, “He lives a life of pain. He has a lot of pain. He’s an amazing guy. He’s an amazing athlete. He does have pain. He doesn’t have an alcohol problem, but he does have pain.”
