JR Motorsports has signed a rising driver to a select NASCAR schedule in 2026. Jake Finch will drive the No. 9 car for JR Motorsports in five NASCAR O’Reilly Series races during the 2026 season, the team announced. Finch, who drives part-time in the ARCA Menards Series, made his O’Reilly Series debut last year.
Finch drove the No. 17 car for Hendrick Motorsports in the O’Reilly Series race at Dover Motor Speedway, finishing in 17th place. Now, Finch has earned a ride with another Chevrolet powerhouse organization. The 20-year-old driver will make his start with with JR Motorsports at EchoPark Speedway on July 11.

Finch will also make starts at Darlington Raceway (September 5), Bristol Motor Speedway (September 18), Charlotte Motor Speedway (October 10), and Talladega Superspeedway (October 24). Finch hopes that his starts with JR Motorsprots lead to his first O’Reilly Series race during the 2026 season.
