Tiger Woods is arguably the most well-known golfer in the world and certainly one of the most successful in terms of wins and money earned. But Woods made news for something other than golf on Friday, March 27.
Woods was involved in a two-car crash in Jupiter Island, Florida Friday. While neither driver was injured in the collision, Woods was identified as the impaired driver of a Land Rover, according to Martin County Sheriff John Budensiek, who said Woods crawled out of the car window on the passenger side following the crash.

Woods, 50, was arrested on suspicion of DUI, property damage and refusal to submit to a lawful test after refusing to take a urinalysis after the accident, according to Budensiek, who said the charges are misdemeanors. Budensiek indicated that Woods was not impaired by alcohol but likely by drugs or medication. The sheriff added that a substance was not initially found at the scene.
This is not the first time, the golf star has been invovled in car accident while he was driving impaired. And Woods is fortunate that he has more than enough money to cover any and all expenses.

Woods has used his winnings for investments, including two homes in Jupiter Island – the same area where Friday’s crash occurred.
He has also invested in a golf-course design business and PopStroke, a high-end mini-golf chain.
