It’s funny how you can sometimes say something and then it just happens, which is exactly what took place this week with our reacts poll. Just hours after it was published, news broke that the Saints were signing former Dolphins QB Zach Wilson. The 2021 1st round (2nd overall) draft pick was brought in on a one-year deal and will likely compete with Spencer Rattler for the backup position on the roster. The Saints now have 3 quarterbacks on their roster, and could still be looking to add another, however, it’s still unclear what the future in New Orleans holds for Taysom Hill. He is currently a free agent and while rumors of retirement still linger, there has been no credible information on his status so he could return for another season in the black and gold.
