Odell Beckham Jr. made his return to competitive football during the inaugural Fanatics Flag Football Classic.
Beckham did not disappoint during the exhibition. He made a vintage, one-handed catch and quickly developed chemistry with Joe Burrow and Jayden Daniels, becoming a go-to target for Wildcats FFC.

Of course, as many NFL players and fans learned during the Fanatics Flag Football Classic, flag football is very different than NFL football. Beckham wasn’t wearing pads or a helmet during the March 21 showcase, so his performance – as it pertains to him being ready for NFL action – should be taken with a grain of salt.
Still, the 33-year-old likely showed enough athleticism to grab the attention of NFL teams. That could give him a chance to rejoin the NFL ranks after spending the 2025 season out of football.
Here’s a look at a handful of teams that could consider signing Beckham as he looks to return to the NFL.
Odell Beckham Jr.’s best NFL landing spots
New York Giants
Beckham spent the first five years of his NFL career with the Giants. He expressed an interest in returning to the team when asked by FanDuel TV’s Kay Adams about the possibility of teaming up with Jaxson Dart.

“That sounds great,” Beckham responded. “If that opportunity presents itself, I would love to do that. [I’d] be excited about that.”
Do the Giants need Beckham? Not necessarily, as the team signed Darnell Mooney and Calvin Austin III during the offseason. Still, John Harbaugh coached Beckham for a season with the Baltimore Ravens so if he wants to add more depth and veteran competition across from Malik Nabers, kicking the tires on Beckham would make sense.
New York Jets
Beckham could also interest the Giants’ cross-town rivals. The Jets don’t have much at receiver behind Garrett Wilson and Adonai Mitchell, who flashed across eight games in New York last season after being acquired as part of the Sauce Gardner trade.

Beckham would provide the Jets’ wide receiver room some much-needed experience and could serve as a stopgap starter and mentor for Aaron Glenn’s squad.

Buffalo Bills
The Bills acquired DJ Moore in a trade with the Chicago Bears, giving the team the No. 1 receiver it lacked. Still, Buffalo could stand to add depth at receiver with Keon Coleman on shaky footing and Josh Palmer disappointing during his first season with the team.
Beckham would fit the bill. Joe Brady could see the benefit in adding him after watching another veteran receiver – late-season signing Brandin Cooks – generate five catches for 78 yards in the playoffs for the Bills last season.

Kansas City Chiefs
Andy Reid has never been shy about taking on reclamation projects. Beckham would qualify, and pairing with Patrick Mahomes could be exactly what the 33-year-old needs to spark an NFL comeback.
It would be good for the Chiefs to have insurance at the receiver position too, with Rashee Rice facing domestic abuse allegations. They could acquire that with one of their two first-round picks in the 2026 NFL Draft, but adding Beckham wouldn’t preclude them from drafting a receiver.

Las Vegas Raiders
Staying in the AFC West, the Raiders sport one of the youngest receiver rooms in the NFL. They signed Jalen Nailor to join Tre Tucker as top targets for presumed No. 1 overall pick Fernando Mendoza, but adding more proven talent around the reigning Heisman Trophy winner would be wise.

Like the Chiefs, the Raiders could pursue receiver upgrades during the 2026 NFL Draft, but adding Beckham to compete for a role and serve as a mentor to the rest of the receiver room could prove valuable.
Washington Commanders
The Commanders have Terry McLaurin at receiver, and not much else. Beckham just played with Daniels at the Fanatics Flag Football Classic and would be a natural fit within the group of veterans – highlighted by Treylon Burks and Dyami Brown – fighting for playing time in Washington.
Beckham overlapped with new Commanders offensive coordinator, David Blough, in Cleveland for the 2019 season, so there would be familiarity between the two.
