Australia’s Jai Opetaia headlines Zuffa Boxing’s biggest show to date when he takes on the durable Brandon Glanton at Zuffa 04 in Las Vegas on Sunday, March 8.
The undefeated knockout artist will be hoping to make a statement on debut in the U.S., while Glanton gets the biggest opportunity of his career as he looks to spring the upset.
A dramatic build-up to the fight saw the IBF withdraw their sanction and declare Opetaia would be stripped of his belt if he was to compete in an unsanctioned cruiserweight bout.

Emiliano Alvarado sees off a tough Erick Rosado

The 18-year-old Emiliano Alvarado looked moments away from finishing the far more experienced Erick Rosado on several occasions in the featherweight opener but couldn’t find the decisive blow, instead taking a unanimous decision.
Alvarado dropped Rosado hard with a left hook in the second round and had him hurt multiple times through the remainder but the Dominican fought on to the bell bravely.
