Zak Brown has confirmed McLaren Racing are expanding into the golf industry with the launch of McLaren Golf.
The new venture is set to debut in April, bringing Formula 1 engineering expertise into the performance equipment market.

McLaren have recruited senior figures from the golf world to lead the project in a move that signals a serious entry rather than a simple brand extension.

Brown announced the project while outlining McLaren’s ambition to apply its “high-performance DNA” to the sport.
“Excited to bring our high-performance DNA to a brand-new venture: McLaren Golf,” he said.
“Combining world-class engineering minds with leading golf-industry experts, we will offer beautifully designed equipment, developed to deliver precision and excellence on the golf course. Looking forward to this!”

Neil Howie, former President of Callaway Golf Europe, will serve as CEO of McLaren Golf.
It has also been reported that technical staff from Cobra and TaylorMade have joined the venture.
While no official product details have been released, the recruitment of experienced hard goods specialists suggests the range could extend beyond apparel.

Zak Brown and Lando Norris highlight McLaren’s growing golf connection
Zak Brown’s interest in golf is well established. He and McLaren driver Lando Norris played in the 2025 BMW PGA Championship Pro-Am.
Norris is regarded as a committed golfer and plays off an eight handicap, while Brown plays off 14.
