There’s a path for Patrick Reed to make a PGA TOUR appearance before his one-year ban is over.

Patrick Reed is suspended from the PGA TOUR until August, but we could see him play in an event before he’s officially reinstated.

The 2018 Masters champion decided against re-signing with LIV Golf and instead has committed to joining the TOUR once his one-year ban is over. Unlike Brooks Koepka, Reed didn’t qualify for the Returning Members Program—no major wins or PLAYERS title from 2022-2025—so he couldn’t come back right away.

However, since the Genesis Scottish Open in July is a co-sanctioned event by the TOUR and DP World Tour, Reed will be eligible to tee it up at the Renaissance Club. Both circuits confirmed this to bunkered.co.uk.
