Ryan Preece drove away from William Byron in the final 15 laps to win the Cook Out Clash NASCAR Cup Series race on Feb. 4 at Bowman Gray Stadium.
In a lengthy race that included 17 cautions, Preece drove up through the field on wet-weather tires in the second half of the event, then excelled on restarts with the lead.

A mix of rain and sleet fell during the halfway break after Lap 100, forcing NASCAR to opt for wet-weather tires following a short delay.
