Gervonta Davis arrest details

Davis was arrested late Wednesday night in Miami Gardens on charges of battery, attempted kidnapping and false imprisonment. The charges stem from an alleged Oct. 27 incident in which a woman who claims to be Davis’ ex-girlfriend says she was attacked by the boxer.

Miami Gardens police say they worked in tandem with the United States Marshals Fugitive Task Force to search for Davis for two weeks after an arrest warrant was issued on Jan. 14. Despite the manhunt, Davis was taken into custody without incident and booked at Turner Guilford Knight Correctional Center.

Here is Davis’ mugshot, obtained by TMZ:

The police report claims Davis grabbed the alleged victim by her hair and throat during the incident, in line with what the woman described when she sued Davis for aggravated battery, false imprisonment, kidnapping and intentional infliction of emotional distress.

In addition to the October incident, the alleged victim claims Davis choked her in August and held her against her will with a weapon at his home in September.
