Philadelphia Eagles running back Saquon Barkley discussed his reaction to receiving boos from fans at MetLife Stadium during the team’s 28-3 win over the New York Giants in Week 7.

“It really made me feel like something other, like I’ve never had that feeling before,” Barkley said during a Friday appearance on The Pivot Podcast (9:45 mark). “Some people be like, ‘damn, they booing me.’ It wasn’t really like that. I really was like, ‘I’m really that motherf–ker that they are booing me.'”

“If I was some scrub, I’m not going to get booed,” he added. “It was more of like a compliment to me.”

Barkley rushed for 176 yards and a touchdown on 17 carries in the win.
