Former NFL wide receiver Greg Jennings thought life imitated art when a highlight of Lache Seastrunk’s 76-yard touchdown run for Baylor in 2012 resurfaced on social media.

Seastrunk broke free for a 76-yard touchdown run in the fourth quarter, and the majority of those yards came after his left leg started to cramp up. Jennings joked that it looked like the famous clip of him from the Madden video game:

The two-time Pro Bowler was immortalized when he “put the team on his back” in a game of Madden.

In the clip, Jennings scores a game-winning touchdown and ran nearly three-quarters of the field while holding his left leg. The video took on a life of its own, and the image of Jennings has come to symbolize the moments when a player goes above and beyond to help his team.

Thankfully for Seastrunk, he didn’t have to run with a broken leg like the retired wideout.
