Western Carolina quarterback Taron Dickens completed his first 46 attempts in a 23-21 win over Wofford, smashing the NCAA old mark of Princeton’s Quinn Epperly (29) in 2013.

Dickens had 325 yards and three touchdowns during his scorching start to the game. He eventually finished 53-of-56 for 378 yards and three scores through the air. With 44 yards on 19 carries, he was also the Catamounts’ leading rusher.

The redshirt sophomore actually compiled a streak of 50 straight completions when accounting for Western Carolina’s 42-35 win over Campbell on Sept. 27. The record across two games was 36 by East Carolina’s Dominique Davis in 2011.
