Barcelona will welcome Paris Saint-Germain at Estadi Olímpic Lluís Companys on Wednesday night as they look to secure a good result at home in the UEFA Champions League. The Catalan club secured a 2-1 win over Real Sociedad recently, so they would be full of confidence going into this game this week.

Hansi Flick will stick with his favoured 4-2-3-1 formation and is expected to make a few changes to his starting XI for this clash. Lamine Yamal, Dani Olmo and Pau Cubarsi could all play from the start of this game versus PSG.

4-2-3-1 Barcelona Predicted Lineup To Face Paris Saint-Germain

Defence

Wojciech Szczęsny will continue in goal for Barca after shipping in one goal in his last outing. Pau Cubarsi will function alongside Ronald Araujo at the centre of Flick’s backline as they look to keep the opposition at bay during the game.

Jules Kounde will be a nailed-on starter as the right-back, while Gerard Martin hopes to shine on the other side as the left-back. Both of them would have to pick and choose their moments to join in on the attack.

Andreas Christensen and Eric Garcia will be available for selection on the bench as they provide cover for the defensive positions.

Midfield

Frenkie de Jong and Pedri will anchor the midfield for Barcelona as they hope to establish their dominance over the opposition at the centre of the park.

The gifted trio of Marcus Rashford, Dani Olmo and Lamine Yamal will function just ahead of them as part of Flick’s attack. All three of them would look to get in behind the PSG defence at every chance they get this Wednesday night.

Marc Casado, Roony Bardghji and Dro Fernandez will be named on the bench as they await their chance to influence the game in the second 45 minutes if required.

Attack

Robert Lewandowski will lead the charge for the Catalan giants up top. He scored against Real Sociedad last weekend, which should keep him in good spirits ahead of this Champions League clash in midweek.

Ferran Torres will have to be content with a place on the bench and might come on to make an impact in the latter stages of the game if Barca are in need of a goal by then.
