Europe enters Sunday with a commanding 11.5-4.5 lead over the United States. It will need to earn three of the 12 possible points on the final day to win.
Scottie Scheffler (USA) and Rory McIlroy (Europe) have been paired together and will be the featured match of the day.
Scheffler is currently the No. 1 player in the world. McIlroy is ranked No. 2. They did not compete against one another during the first two days of competition.
How many points does Team USA need to win?
The United States will need to produce a fast start and a strong outing on Sunday to make the event competitive.
Team USA will need a nearly-perfect performance in the singles pairing matchups to reach the required 14.5 points to win. The team currently has 4.5 points.
