Michael Jordan and Dallas Mavericks rookie Cooper Flagg met up at the 2025 Ryder Cup on Saturday.
The Chicago Bulls legend was photographed with the No. 1 overall pick in the 2025 NBA draft at Bethpage Black.
Flagg and Jordan both share golf as a hobby, with the former Duke forward previously listing the Hall of Fame shooting guard as an NBA player that he’d want to spend time on the course with.
As for Flagg’s on-court activities, his regular-season debut for the Mavericks is drawing closer.
There’s plenty of hype surrounding 18-year-old, who’s coming off a freshman season with the Blue Devils in which he averaged 19.2 points, 7.5 rebounds, 4.2 assists, 1.4 steals and 1.4 blocks per game on 48.1/38.5/84.0 shooting splits.
Flagg earned the Naismith Men’s College Player of the Year Award and the Wooden Award for his efforts, two trophies that Jordan previously secured during his 1983-84 season at North Carolina.
Now, Flagg is preparing for Dallas to begin its 2025-26 regular season against the San Antonio Spurs on Oct. 22.
