ONE Championship’s heaviest striking champion, Roman Kryklia, is keeping busy in 2025.
After a speedy, business-like dispatching of Lyndon Knowles in April, the Ukranian star will be back to compete in his seventh title fight since 2019 with ONE Championship when the main event of ONE Fight Night 37 comes around on November 7th.

This time, the man across from him is more formidable and the belt is brand new; the inaugural ONE heavyweight kickboxing belt is on the line and will be wrapped around one man’s waist once the dust settles.
Turkey’s Agdeve is one of the brightest young striking prodigies in the world, as evidenced by his recent SENSHI Heavyweight Grand Prix win and his unblemished 17-0 record, with 12 knockouts to boot.

Kryklia and his 51-7 record will obviously be the 21-year-old’s toughest challenge by far. Roman has been fighting at a high level for a decade, from winning the K-1 European tournament back in 2016 to reigning as a ONE champion for the last six years, holding the heavyweight Muay Thai and light-heavyweight kickboxing belts.
With a win on November 7th, Kryklia would become the third triple champion in ONE Championship history, albeit in a different manner to Stamp Fairtex and her three belts in three sports, or Anatoly Malykhin and his at three different weights in MMA.
So far, the other fight booked for the card is a flyweight MMA fight between California’s Gilbert Nakatani (8-3) and Indonesian national team wrestler-turned MMA fighter Eko Roni Saputra (7-4).
ONE Fight Night 37 will go down on the first Friday evening of November in Bangkok, Thailand, as a lead-up to the promotion’s quarterly flagship show one week later, the absolutely stacked ONE 173 from Ariake Arena in Tokyo, Japan.
Roman Kryklia is now a 2 weight and a 2 sport world champion!
ONE Fight Night 17 most definitely delivered the violence. Knockout after knockout and the only match that went the distance, was an absolute war. Great stuff as usual. pic.twitter.com/8ALEFYOYM9
