Many were left concerned after Jey Uso appeared to suffer an injury toward the end of his tag team match with his brother, Jimmy, at Wrestlepalooza on Saturday, but it sounds like there’s nothing to worry about.
After a report surfaced that he was in concussion protocol after being busted open in a loss against Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed, Uso took to his Instagram Story to post a photo with a simple caption that read, “[I’m] good 💉,” per Steve Carrier of Ringside News.
Wrestling Observer’s Bryan Alvarez previously reported (h/t Felix Upton of Ringside News), “Jey busted himself open, he hit Bron with the chair and it bounced off Bron’s back and split him six ways from Sunday. He’s in concussion protocol, which is a requirement after any injury like this.”
Uso was teaming with his brother for the first time in over a year. While they suffered a loss, the former Tag Team Champions showed off some of their previous magic.
It sounds like Uso avoided a major injury, so he and his brother likely will continue their feud with The Vision during this week’s episode of Monday Night Raw.
