Lazio and Roma prepare to engage for the first Derby della Capitale of the season on Sunday in a must-win game for both sides.

Lazio vs Roma kicks off at 11:30 BST or 12:30 local time, with the stage set at Rome’s Stadio Olimpico.

Lazio come into the game with just three points so far this season, having lost to Como and Sassuolo either side of a 4-0 thumping of Verona.

The forward was suffering from a muscular issue in his adductors but is ready to play in Sunday’s must-win game.

Nicolo Rovella was a doubt for the match and whilst it appears Danilo Cataldi will start the game, Rovella will be available to Sarri from the bench.

For Roma, they must go without talismanic forward Paulo Dybala. Head coach Gian Piero Gaspeirni looks set to utilise Evan Ferguson as a lone striker with El Shaarawy and Soule playing behind him.

Summer signing Wesley has not been included in the squad and will be replaced by Dutchman Rensch on the right-hand side. On the opposite flank, Angeliño is narrowly ahead of Tsimikas, with Sky reporting the decision could be touch-and-go until kick-off, with the Spaniard’s place at risk.

LAZIO (4-3-3): Provedel; Marusic, Gila, Romagnoli, Tavares; Guendouzi, Cataldi, Belahyane; Cancellieri, Castellanos, Zaccagni.
