New car prices continue to climb, with even the once-most-affordable offerings now out of reach for many entry-level buyers. Mazda isn’t one of them, though. The company has released new pricing details for many of its 2026 model year vehicles, and most of them remain affordable.
The Japanese automaker, like the rest of the industry, is facing tariffs and higher supplier costs, but you won’t find any huge signs of disruption in Mazda’s 2026 pricing. The Mazda3 and CX-90 are slightly more expensive to start this year, sure, but Mazda somehow worked some magic to lower the CX-50’s starting price.
The CX-50 is the brand’s third best-selling model, behind the CX-5 and CX-30. Yet, Mazda was still able to shave $600 off the MSRP without raising the destination charge (unless you live in Alaska).
The 2026 Mazda lineup remains an affordable value, with the best-selling CX-5 receiving a massive refresh for the upcoming model year. We don’t have pricing for the new crossover just yet, but the Mazda lineup begins with the Mazda3 sedan that starts at just under $26,000.

The Mazda3 doesn’t receive any significant updates for the 2026 model year, but the automaker does have a new standard sound system. Every car comes standard with an eight-speaker Harmonic Acoustics sound system, with buyers still able to upgrade to the Bose System.
Mazda offers the model in sedan and hatchback configurations, with the six-speed manual available in the S Premium hatchback trim. Front-wheel drive remains standard, with all-wheel drive an available option. If you can’t cram your life into a Miata, the Mazda3 is the next best thing.
