Bayer Leverkusen kicked away the crisis that had set in at the start of the season.

In Kasper Hjulmand’s debut, after the meteoric departure of Erik ten Hag, the Red and Black defeated Eintracht Frankfurt 3-1 this Friday (12th).

The goals came from set pieces in this match for the 3rd round of the Bundesliga.

And Leverkusen finished the match with only 9 players on the field, after two red cards in the second half.

Just 10 minutes in, Grimaldo took a dangerous shot that hit the Frankfurt post.

The ball, however, bounced off goalkeeper Zetterer’s back and went in.

Near the end of the first half, Tella was brought down in the box, and the referee awarded a penalty.

Patrick Schick converted with style to find the back of the net.
