Álvaro Fidalgo’s name is starting to make waves in the Mexican National Team. According to León Lecanda from ESPN, Javier Aguirre’s plan is to invite ‘Maguito’ to the Tri’s training camp in November, even though the midfielder is not officially eligible until February.
‘Vasco’s’ idea is for the América player to start getting to know the group and adapt early on to the style of play he wants to implement with El Tri. Although he still can’t play in official matches, the intention is clear: Fidalgo is considered a quality piece for the immediate future of the national team and could become one of the big surprises of Aguirre’s new era.
