The Jets should have some key pieces back for the start of the regular season.

Head coach Aaron Glenn told reporters on Monday afternoon that star CB Sauce Gardner, backup QB Tyrod Taylor, veteran WR Allen Lazard, and young RB Isaiah Davis are all on track to be ready for Week 1.

Gardner, the most notable name on this list, missed time earlier this month due to a calf injury but he was finally able to return to practice last week.

The 25-year-old is hoping to return to his dominant All-Pro form after landing a massive four-year contract extension from the team this offseason.

Taylor has been sidelined since undergoing a knee procedure earlier this month.

Getting him back in the mix is certainly a welcomed sight for Gang Green’s QB room, which currently only has starter Justin Fields and undrafted rookie Brady Cook

Lazard returned to practice on Monday after missing time with a shoulder injury suffered during the preseason opener against his former team in Green Bay.

The veteran has had a bit of an up-and-down start to his time in the Big Apple but now that he is back healthy he could carve out a role for himself alongside Garrett Wilson in a relatively weak receiver room.

Davis figures to start the year as a depth back behind Breece Hall and Braelon Allen.

He was receiving more opportunities in the early goings of training camp, but hasn’t practiced in a couple of weeks due to a lingering ankle injury.
