The North American hard-court swing continues with the 2025 Winston-Salem ATP, which will also serve as a warmup for players ahead of the season’s final grand slam: U.S. Open.Â
Two-time Grand Slam finalist and 12-time ATP Tour champion Stefanos Tsitsipas is hoping to claw his way back up the rankings and has accepted a wild card into the main draw. He will be making his Winston-Salem debut in 2025.
The ATP 250 event features a 48-player singles draw and is played on hard courts at Wake Forest University’s Tennis Complex. Defending champion Lorenzo Sonego returns after defeating Alex Michelsen 6-0, 6-3 in last year’s final.
Local star Sebastian Korda will be hoping to bounce back into the top 30 after slipping to No. 45, largely due to time missed with injuries. He’ll be aiming to win his third ATP title this time around in North Carolina.
