Three new champions were crowned at PFL Charlotte, as tournament finals took place in the lightweight, bantamweight and women’s flyweight divisions. The event was held inside the Bojangles Coliseum.
In the main event, 2024 PFL lightweight champion Gadzhi Rabadanov was upended by Alfie Davis in a razor-thin decision. Davis swept the scorecards, 48-47, to deny Rabadanov a repeat.
Liz Carmouche, meanwhile, dominated Jena Bishop to capture the women’s flyweight title, earning a third round finish. Carmouche, a former Bellator champion who once met Ronda Rousey for the UFC title, improved to 25-8 in her career.
Marcirley Alves claimed the bantamweight belt with a decision over Justin Wetzell. Robert Watley upset Mads Burnell in the main card opener.
The 2025 PFL tournament concludes on Thursday, August 21 from Hard Rock Live at Seminole Hard Rock Hotel and Casino Hollywood in Hollywood, Florida. The event airs live on ESPN, ESPN+ and DAZN.
