William Byron increased his NASCAR Cup Series regular-season points lead with a solid run in the Go Bowling at The Glen on Aug. 10 at Watkins Glen.

Byron now leads Chase Elliott by 42 points for the regular-season title with races at Richmond and Daytona to go before the playoffs.

Chris Buescher’s playoff cutline advantage over teammate Ryan Preece increased with Buescher’s third-place finish. Buescher also recorded a stage win on Sunday.
