Fans interested in meeting Kessel, who hasn’t skated in an NHL game since April 24, 2023, can register at WPT Global and enter the code “IRONKESSEL81” for a chance to win a meet-and-greet.

Initially drafted by the Boston Bruins fifth overall at the 2006 Draft, Kessel went on to play 1,286 games in the NHL, scoring 413 goals and 992 points, and spent six seasons with the Toronto Maple Leafs.

Last year, he signed a PTO with the Vancouver Canucks, but after a week, the two sides parted ways. According to Sportsnet’s Elliotte Friedman, Kessel is still looking for a spot on an NHL roster in October 2024.
