Claressa Shields headlines a show at home, as she defends heavyweight gold at the Little Caesars Arena on July 26 against Lani Daniels. The fight airs on DAZN.
Shields (16-0) has held undisputed gold in three weight divisions. The two-time Olympic gold medalist recently collected all the gold at heavyweight. Known as the “G.W.O.A.T.,” the Flint native has made an effort to promote big cards in her backyard.
With a win, Shields will look for big fights, whether it’s against the elite within women’s boxing or a money fight against Laila Ali.
Daniels (11-2-2) is a two-time New Zealand amateur boxing champion. The IBF light heavyweight champion, who last fought almost a year ago, looks to enhance her resume by winning more gold.
Also on the card will be the return of former champion Tony Harrison (29-4-1). Meanwhile, Samantha Worthington (11-0), ranked third in the WBO’s super lightweight rankings, looks for her second win of 2025.
