Ryan Blaney is satisfied with Team Penske’s performance at Nashville following struggles over the last two weeks for the company’s IndyCar and NASCAR teams.
- Chris Buescher caused Ryan Blaney to spin off the track at Sonoma, costing Blaney a lap.
- The incident adds to Blaney’s string of bad luck this season, despite a win at Nashville.
Chris Buescher sent Ryan Blaney sideways on Turn 2 in the NASCAR Sonoma race on July 13, and Blaney ended up running off the track, up a hill, and stuck in the dirt.
Blaney let it be known on his radio that he wasn’t happy with Buescher after the incident, which came in the final stage. It left Blaney one lap down.
Blaney has been plagued by bad luck all season, with several did-not-finishes and just one win, which came at Nashville in June.
Buescher moved to sixth after the caution with 46 laps to go.
