Having secured deals for Luka Modric and Samuele Ricci, Milan want to continue their midfield overhaul with the addition of Jashari.

Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano reports that Milan have upped their offer to €32.5 million plus add-ons, taking the package to around €38 million.

Borussia Dortmund have also made a late enquiry for Jashari, planning to use the proceeds from Jamie Gittens’ impending departure to Chelsea.

However, Milan remain confident about striking a deal with Club Brugge. They believe the Swiss talent prefers a move to San Siro.

Moving from Luzern last summer, Jashari had a remarkable debut season at Club Brugge, establishing himself as a key cog in the midfield.

He bagged four goals and six assists in 52 appearances and was named the Belgian Pro League’s Player of the Year.

Jashari caught wider attention after his sublime performances against Atalanta in the Champions League play-offs to help Brugge reach the last 16.

The 22-year-old is a top-quality deep-lying playmaker who is also adept at attacking the box.

He is a complete package, excelling with his press resistance, tempo controlling, playmaking, ball progression and defensive solidity and carries a significant goal threat.

Massimiliano Allegri is eyeing more reinforcements in the summer window as Milan prepare for a new era under the Italian manager.

The Rossoneri have submitted an offer worth €25 million for Valencia midfielder Javi Guerra, but they are far from finalising an agreement with the La Liga giants.
