In the aftermath of the results from UFC Atlanta, the official UFC rankings have been released. There were just a small number of minor changes to the rankings, which are broken down by weight class with an overall pound-for-pound also selected.

Neither the men’s or women’s pound-for-pound rankings saw any changes, with the same holding true for men’s bantamweight, lightweight, welterweight and middleweight.

There were also no changes in women’s strawweight or bantamweight.

As for the changes, Tim Elliott (flyweight), Bogdan Guskov (light heavyweight) and Waldo Cortes Acosta (heavyweight) all moved up a spot while Joshua Van, Yair Rodriguez, Zhang Mingyang and Marcin Tybura dropped.

The only women’s change saw JJ Aldrich entered in the flyweight division, replacing Ariane Lipski Da Silva.

Islam Makhachev remains the pound-for-pound No. 1 fighter followed by Merab Dvalishvili, Jon Jones, Ilia Topuria and Dricus du Plessis. As for the women, Valentina Shevchenko is first followed by Zhang Weili, Kayla Harrison, Marion Fiorot and Julianna Pena.

The next UFC event is this Saturday from Baku, Azerbaijan, as Jamahal Hill takes on Khalil Rountree Jr. in a light heavyweight main event. Hill is ranked fourth and Rountree seventh.
