Terri Harper looks to defend gold at home on May 23 when she puts her WBO lightweight title on the line in Doncaster against Natalie Zimmermann. The fight airs on DAZN.

Harper (15-2-2) is a former super featherweight and super welterweight champion. ‘Belter’s first attempt to become a three-weight champion at welterweight ended in a one-sided beatdown from Sandy Ryan in March last year.

But the 28-year-old regrouped six months later, dropping down two divisions to dethrone 135-pound champion Rhiannon Dixon. Harper is ready to put on a show on Friday night in front of family and friends.

“I’ve got the fire in me, the self-belief, the love for boxing. I’m hungry again, and if I don’t get a statement win here on Friday night, I’ll be disappointed.”

Ranked tenth by the WBO, Zimmermann (13-0) competes in the U.K. for the first time. The German is a massive underdog but is ready to adapt and cause an upset.

“I’ve brought in girls from all over Europe to give me hard sparring and try to replicate Terri’s style,” Zimmermann said. “I have really put my all into this training camp. I am at my best, and I will give my best. Becoming world champion on Friday night means everything to me.”

Top contenders look to impress on the Terri Harper vs. Natalie Zimmermann undercard while local gold is on the line.

The Sidcup-born Sharp (25-1) is looking to rebound after losing the first fight of his career last July, when he dropped a unanimous decision to undefeated prospect Ryan Garner.

Reece Mould vs. Lewis Sylvester

  • Division/Weight: Lightweight

Doncaster’s Mould (20-3) is a former English featherweight and lightweight champion. He is 2-2 in his past four fights and looks to go 2-0 in 2025. Defeats to Leigh Wood, Gary Cully and Ryan Walsh means he has only lost in good company.

Sylvester (15-1), a former English lightweight champion, failed to capture British and Commonwealth honours against the hard-hitting Sam Noakes. Since his corner threw in the towel in that fight last February, the Hull-born fighter has gone 2-0.

  • Levy record: 13-3
  • Belts at stake: N/A

Further down the card, Ellie Hellewell takes on Stevi Levy.
