There was a $4 million purse and a $720,000 first-place prize at the 2025 Oneflight Myrtle Beach Classic, this week’s opposite-field PGA Tour event.
There was also a two-year exemption on the PGA Tour up for grabs, so there was lots to play for at the Dunes Golf and Beach Club in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina.
Ryan Fox, who shot a final-round 66 to get into a three-way, sudden-death playoff, outlasted Mackenzie Hughes and Harry Higgs on the first playoff hole to win for the first time on the PGA Tour. It’s a win that brings him a two-year exemption but also, the second-to-last spot in this week’s PGA Championship.
