JAMESTOWN — The Hillcrest Women’s Golf Association had four winners out of the 35 who participated in their season opening event on Tuesday, May 6, at the Hillcrest Golf Course.

The winners were Savannah Wiese, Tammy Perleberg, Coralynn Dallman and Theresa Haag. Wiese’s second shot landed closest to the pin on the second hole, 24 feet away, while Perleberg had the longest drive on the ninth hole and the shortest drive on the 11th hole. Dallman’s chip came 2 feet, 1 inch away from the 12th hole. Haag had her shot on the eighth hole land closest to the pin coming at 23 feet, 3 inches. She also landed a shot closest to the 13th hole pin at 16 feet, 8 inches. She also won the mystery event with seven fives and had the lowest score of the day with 84.

The day also saw Cathy Caulfield chip in her shot on the 14th hole.
