The CJ Cup Byron Nelson began Thursday at TPC Craig Ranch in McKinney, Texas, outside of Dallas. World No. 1 Scottie Scheffler and fellow Dallas resident Jordan Spieth highlighted the field, which was lacking star power due to its spot on the schedule. There’s a signature event next week at the Truist Championship, formerly the Wells Fargo, with the year’s second major, the PGA Championship, in two weeks.
