A golf game may be good, but how much better is it when it benefits college students?
Cal State Bakersfield invited golfers to the 2025 CSUB Golf Classic on March 31 at Stockdale Country Club. Proceeds went to student scholarships and the university’s Nursing Student Global Outreach Fund, which sends Roadrunners around the world to help communities in need of quality health care.
“These kinds of events show the community that CSUB is the home for all Kern County residents,” said Raul Navarro, co-chairman of the university’s Staff Forum, which hosts the tournament.
