Inter Milan claimed an all-important 2-1 win at Bayern Munich in the first leg of their Champions League quarter-final tie.
Goals from Lautaro Martinez and Davide Frattesi sealed the deal for Simone Inzaghi’s side at the Allianz Arena.
Meanwhile, Thomas Muller netted a consolation strike for the Bavarians.
As a result, Inter became the first team since PSG in 2021 to beat Bayern on their home turf in the Champions League.
Understandably, emotions were overwhelming.
Indeed, Hakan Calhanoglu took to Instagram to celebrate the win, saying: “The job isn’t finished yet. Next week, all together.”
