Jackson Koivun is ready to take the spotlight. The 21-year-old national champion at Auburn, competing in just his third tournament as a full PGA Tour member, enters the final round at the 2026 3M Open in position to win.

The two-time winner of college golf’s Jack Nicklaus, Ben Hogan and Fred Haskins awards shot an unreal 10-under 61 in the third round (it’s behind only Michael Kim’s 59 from Round 2). Two eagles on the back nine, including one on the par-5 18th, saw him to a course-record 28 on the back nine and 20 under for the tournament. Koivun enters today’s final round three shots ahead of Ben Kohles and Emiliano Grillo.

Michael Brennan also had a great Round 3 with an 8-under 63; he is tied with Chandler Phillips four off the lead. Kim comes in tied with Billy Horschel and Denny McCarthy five back, while Scottie Scheffler (six back) and Hideki Matsuyama (seven back) loom if there’s a shakeup atop the leaderboard.
