The Los Angeles Dodgers entered the 2026 season as the two-time defending World Series champions and prohibitive favorite to win it all again — and that’s exactly where the Dodgers enter the postseason.
Los Angeles opened as a +350 World Series favorite and enters the 2026 postseason as the +210 favorite at BetMGM sportsbooks, ahead of the Milwaukee Brewers (+550), New York Yankees (+800) and Tampa Bay Rays (+800). The Chicago White Sox have the longest odds to win the World Series at 40-1.

“Heading into the playoffs the sportsbook is in great position on the World Series futures market,” Matthew Rasp, senior trader at BetMGM, said in a statement. “Many of the favorites, including the Dodgers, Brewers and Yankees, are winners for the book. The Padres and White Sox are the two biggest remaining liabilities to win it all.”
Not surprisingly, the Dodgers have the most wagers (11.8%) and most total dollars wagered (20.8%) at BetMGM of any MLB team to win it all. The Yankees have the second-most tickets (8.8%) and total dollars wagered (9%).

Los Angeles (100-62) cruised to another NL West title, but fell short of its win total (102.5) and was surpassed for the best record in the NL by the Milwaukee Brewers (103-59).
There won’t be a rematch of the 2025 World Series that the Dodgers won in seven games over the Toronto Blue Jays, as Toronto (79-83) missed the postseason and finished in last place in the AL East.
