CROMVOIRT, Netherlands – While it ended up insignificant, Celine Boutier’s T.I.O. relief at the 16th hole on Friday morning at the Solheim Cup could’ve potentially been momentous.
Boutier’s European teammate Nanna Koerstz Madsen had just blown her drive right of the creek that runs along the par-5 16th fairway at Bernardus Golf, and somehow her ball stayed on the bank, though in the penalty area on the gallery side of the hole.
