The NASCAR Cup Series will move to Virginia this weekend. After Shane van Gisbergen’s dominant win at Watkins Glen International, Richmond Raceway will take center stage on Saturday evening.

Last season, Austin Dillon was victorious during the summer trip to the track. However, his playoff eligibility was taken away in controversial fashion, due to him wrecking Joey Logano and Denny Hamlin to get to Victory Lane.

Looking ahead, BetMGM Sportsbook has us covered with the odds. See if your favorite driver has a shot at the dub in Virginia this weekend, in what should be a doozy of a race.

Denny Hamlin (+400)

Denny Hamlin had an afternoon to forget at Watkins Glen. He couldn’t overcome the competition, finishing P25 during his latest trip to the road course.

This will be the 37th time Hamlin has raced in the Cup Series at Richmond. It’s been one of his best tracks, as he has five victories at the track. Perhaps No. 6 is on the docket for this weekend, after he came close in 2024.

Christopher Bell (+400)

Christopher Bell was the best of the rest after Shane van Gisbergen at Watkins Glen. He finished as the runner-up during this past weekend’s race in New York.

This will be Bell’s tenth start at Richmond. He’s never won at the track in the Cup Series, but he did finish as the runner-up in 2022. Maybe he’ll break through the glass ceiling and win this time around.

Kyle Larson (+600)

A brutal finish for Kyle Larson. The Hendrick Motorsports star finished dead-last at Watkins Glen, after dealing with some brake issues.

This weekend will mark the 21st time Larson will drive in the Cup Series at Richmond. He’s won at the track in the past, in 2017 and 2023, so he’ll be looking for his third victory on Saturday. We’ll see if he can bounce back.

William Byron (+700)

William Byron couldn’t go back-to-back after winning the week prior to Watkins Glen in Iowa. However, he’ll take a fourth-place finish, as he continues his hot streak.

Bryon’s never won at Richmond in 13 tries. His best finish of P3 came in 2022 though, and he’s steadily improved at Richmond each season. Maybe he’ll add a new trophy to his collection on Saturday.

Ryan Blaney (+800)

Ryan Blaney was racing near the front all afternoon, but he couldn’t get to Shane van Gisbergen. In the end, the Team Penske wheelman finished P6 when the checkered flag waved, not too shabby.

As Blaney suits up at Richmond for the 18th time, he’s never had much success at the track. He only has one top ten, with a best finish of P7. He’ll be hoping for wholesale changes this weekend.

Chase Briscoe (+1000)

Chase Briscoe continues to have an awesome summer. He’s rounding into form, notching another top five finish at Watkins Glen.

This will be Briscoe’s ninth race at Richmond in the Cup Series. Over that time, his best finish is P11. He’s never notched a top ten, but he’s running so good at the moment that it’s tough to bet against him.

Joey Logano (+1000)

Joey Logano finished in P14 at Watkins Glen, after starting P11. He’s racking up some solid finishes at the moment, even if he’s not winning races.

The three-time NASCAR Cup Series champion will be racing at the track for the 32nd time on Saturday. Logano has two wins there, so there’s a precedent for him finding Victory Lane this weekend. He was on his way last season before being dumped by Austin Dillon.

Chase Elliott (+1200)

Chase Elliott usually loves Watkins Glen. That wasn’t the case in 2025. He finished P26 and dealt with trouble throughout the afternoon in New York.

Elliott’s never won at Richmond in 17 tries, so perhaps No. 18 will be the lucky one. He does have a runner-up finish though, and he generally runs well at the track, so there’s some reason to think he’ll exceed expectations.
