Second round action at the 2025 NCAA Tournament officially got underway Saturday and will play out over the course of the next two days as we pare the field — which began at 68 teams — down to a Sweet 16. Saturday’s slate began with No. 4 seed Purdue and No. 12 seed McNeese in a standalone window, and boy oh boy: things will progressively get more interesting as the day unfolds.
We also have Rick Pitino’s St. John’s team vs. John Calipari’s Arkansas team in a standalone window on CBS and a delectable afternoon slate that includes No. 11 seed and Cinderella-hopeful Drake vs. No. 3 seed Texas Tech as well as Michigan-Texas A&M.
The nightcap includes some big dogs to boot led by No. 1 overall seed Auburn and No. 1 seed Houston taking on Creighton and Gonzaga, respectively.
