Paris Saint-Germain’s 30-game unbeaten streak was finally ended in a 3-1 loss to Nice.
Scorers:Â Ruiz 41; Sanson 34′, 46′, Ndayishimiye 70′
The runaway champions fell behind when Morgan Sanson was able to fire a low effort beneath Gianluigi Donnarumma after being teed up by Badredine Bouanani.
That lead lasted all of seven minutes as Ousmane Dembélé fed Fabián Ruiz with a ball over the top from which the midfielder dispatched clinically from close range.
But Les Aiglons stunned the Parc des Princes for a second time barely a minute into the second half through Sanson, this time volleying home Jonathan Clauss’ cross.
Youssouf Ndayishimiye extended the visitors’ cushion by rising above Ruiz to meet Bouanani’s free kick from the far lefthand side with a downward header.
Luis Enrique’s side had hoped to eclipse the French top flight’s long-standing record of 32 successive games without defeat which was set by Nantes in 1994/95.
