Paris Saint-Germain produced a devastating attacking display to defeat Toulouse 6–3 in a remarkable Ligue 1 contest on Saturday evening.

The visitors raced into a commanding position inside the opening quarter of an hour. João Neves struck twice, either side of a Bradley Barcola goal, to give PSG a 3–0 lead by the 14th minute.

Ousmane Dembélé extended the advantage from the penalty spot before half-time, though Charlie Cresswell gave the home side brief hope when he pulled one back to make it 4–1 at the interval.

Early in the second half, Dembélé converted another penalty to notch his second of the night and PSG’s fifth.

Toulouse rallied late on, with Yann Gboho and Alexis Vossah both finding the net in the closing stages, but by then the contest was beyond them. PSG added a sixth to complete the scoring in stoppage time.

The result sees PSG topping the table after three games while their hosts are in sixth place.
